Was at Paragon and picked up a pack of 4 rum balls - 2 pieces of Chocolate and 2 pieces of Black Forest. Had not bought them from OSC before but boy was I in for a treat. Always been a fan of the less than beautiful-looking rum ball - the neighborhood cake-shop version rumored to be made of layer cake scraps and rum flavouring but definitely not this OSC version. The Chocolate ball was unctuous and the fudge-like cake steeped in rum. Great for an after dinner treat by any account. The Black Forest version was punctuated by rum-infused cherry or similar fruit. Each one a delectable burst of fruit and alcohol. Just great for afternoon tea. In all a boozy, decadent, and downright delicious treat - not to be missed.
